History
In Japan, various manual therapies have been practiced since recorded history. After the Meiji era, chiropractic, osteopathy, and spondrotherapy, known as America's three major medical treatments, began to flow into the country one after another. In addition to various techniques that have been passed down in Japan since ancient times, it is a combination of techniques such as massaging, doin massage, and katsuho that have been introduced from traditional Chinese medicine. At one time, more than 300 different types of procedures were mixed together as medical treatments. Currently, it is becoming popular as a unique Japanese manual therapy.
